Even though Survival cannot be selfish, it is. Most people tend to think out of instinct, but for those who survive while others parish without effort given would be the scenarios where survival is selfish. Many people argue that survival is selfish because it can make one seem cowardly and weak in the face of danger during a horrific disaster. It is often argued that survival is selfish, here are some reasons why. First, it states in lines 59-61 of Is Survival Selfish it says, "perhaps views claim, that some people don’t have the options to choose someone else over them." it's a complex question, because there is so many factors involved, and every survival situation is different. Self-preservation is supposedly an instinct, so one would think in life or death situations we are all focused on whatever was necessary to survive.
