Argumentative Essay: Is Spanking Our Children?

Is spanking our children okay? Children of any age, toddlers and teennagers. This has been debated for years. It seems as though no one can come up with the answer to this debated question. Are we putting our children in an physical/ emotional danger ? Or are we hugging them with one hand, and slapping them with the other. My point of view towards this would be that this is an effective way to discipline children if you use it in the right way. Educating kids nowadays is getting harder. Some adults say that punishing a child by smacking him will damage the relationship between the child and the parents. This is wrong. Children who understand the reasons for why they were hit will be happier than children who are not given clear reasons on why they were hit. There are definitely concerns about physical punishment. Some parents lose control and can injure children and even breaking bones or cause bruises. This why we must give an explanation to why you hit them “ Any kind of discipline has to be motivated by love and concern” ( Is Spanking O.K.). If used right way children will not become problematic.
