Is Hitler dead or alive? The world has been told for the last 70 years that on April 30 1945 committed suicide. But Hitler and his wife both faked their death to escape persecution. They was said to escape to Argentina via submarine in 1945 because Hitler knew he would lose the war. On the day Hitler escaped, two Nazi submarines were said to have landed on the Argentinian coast with Hitler on the first submarine, U-530. His wife was said to be on the second submarine. There was no report of finding Hitler’s body which means he wasn’t dead. It also means that Hitler probably escaped to Argentina on the two submarines. The FBI.gov website states that the government knew that Hitler was alive and well …show more content…

Corsi) Hitler was the leader of the Nazi Germany from 1934 until 1945. His initiated World War 2 and over saw fascist policies that resulted in millions of deaths. Hitler’s objective was to get rid of all Jewish people. These facts states that Hitler didn’t die in his underground berlin bunker. But there’s another side to the story. Bio.com starts that “Hitler and his wife both were said to have swallowed cyanide capsules then shot themselves “”for good measure” and that his body was found later that day by Russian troops and was later transported back to Russia to be cremated on 1956. Hitler stayed in his underground bunker for a very long time. His bunker was fifty five feet underground. The bunker contained 18 small rooms and was fully self-sufficient, with its own water and electrical supply. The only person he was said to let in his underground bunker was Hermann Goering, Heinrich Himmler, and Joachim von Ribbentrop. The chief of the United States trial counsel a Nuremburg, Thomas J. Dodd, said that there is no one on this earth that can be absolutely positive and say that Hitler is dead because no one knows for sure what happened to Hitler.
The final report of this minute investigation was, “there was no evidence beyond that of hear-say to support the theory of Hitler’s suicide.” He also stated, “on the basis of present evidence, not insurance company in America would pay a death claim on Adolf Hitler.”
May 2, 1945 president Truman told a press conference he was certain Hitler was dead, he claimed the best authority for this information. He never disclosed this authority simply because there was none. An American intelligence officer later revealed Truman’s reason for claiming the fuehrer was dead. He thought it would have the psychological effect of causing the Germans to surrender faster. The president had absolutely no evidence of Hitler’s death.
