Hello, my name is Umreen, and in this case today I am here to prove to you that Christopher Columbus is a hero. Christopher Columbus has been falsely charged with mistreatment and murder of thousands, he is also being held responsible for initiating the columbian exchange. At the end of this case my team will ask you if Christopher Columbus is not guilty. This case is about how Christopher Columbus started trading with the old world and the new world opening new doors and introducing many different crops the Europe.

He helped many people become richer, have more food and he helped many countries in europe gain population. He did this in many different ways. During his first voyage he discovered many of the islands that are now known as the caribbean and he took small prises back to Spain to show queen Isabella how rich the new world was. Columbus also went back to the new world for a second time he found more islands and he and his men helped civilize that part of the world in turn helping big countries get bigger and gain population. My last witness that I will introduce to you today will be Martin Alonso Pinzon who was the captain of the Pinta during columbus's first voyage to the new world. The pinta was the fastest of the three ships that went with columbus to the new world. Though the pinta was not one of the biggest ships in europe during it’s time it could carry many men, weapons and treasures that Columbus and his men found during their stay at the new world. At the end of the case I would like you to reevaluate if you think that Christopher columbus is a villain and I would hope we changed your mind with our points and witnesses.
