Argumentative Essay: Is Bigfoot Real?

Decent Essays
Bigfoot is a large, hairy, apelike creature resembling a yeti and is supposedly found in northwestern America. Individuals claim to have seen Bigfoot, describing it as a large, roughly 6–9-foot creature covered in black, dark brown, or dark reddish hair. Scientists discount the existence of Bigfoot and consider it to be a combination of folklore, misidentification, and hoax, rather than living animal. However, based on circumstantial evidence one can argue that Bigfoot is real. DNA and footprints have been found in woods in the Pacific Northwest. We have sightings in states like California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Washington, Tennessee and, Oregon etc. Them were some of the most sighting out if the states. We have DNA samples of Bigfoot

Wind-Wolf was an Indian 5 year old in kindergarten. His teacher assumed that he was a slow learner because Wing-Wolf was not learning what was being taught in class at the same rate as his classmates. The teacher tried to use the same methods of teaching he used with the rest of the class which was not the way Wind-Wolf was taught. The teacher should have tried different methods of teaching such as, verbal, logical, spatial, kinesthetic, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, or naturalist intelligence to find a better way to teach Wind-Wolf. Wind-Wolf’s father mentioned that Wind-Wolf learned to count with objects.…

My wife and I this past Saturday night, watched the SYFY Channels new original movie; Bigfoot. One one hand it was absolutely horrible, and on many levels. Yet on the other hand so cheesetastic, it would be one of those you didn't want to miss if a fan of 'B-Movies'. With these type of films, lack of money usually effects the whole production. It's what happens when as a filmmaker, you dream of having a budget in the millions, and instead you're asking actors to work for scale because you don't have the budget to pay them what might get in another production.…

It often amazes me that people have a difficult time with the concept that Bigfoot is a human hybrid. You honestly expect a humanoid creature that is over seven feet tall, covered in hair, that has abilities that are essentially supernatural, that possesses superhuman strength, that can live so close to civilization, yet remain almost completely hidden from man, and that possesses an extremely high intellect to have “normal” DNA!? I would expect it to have strange and unexplainable DNA consistent with the findings of the Sasquatch Genome Study. The following statements will disturb many in the “Bigfoot Research Community” and the general public at large.…

In fact, it is being supported time and time again by fossil records. However, thats not to say your theory is perfect. The point of a theory is not to be perfect. The ideas you have presented, however, are the best and most scientifically grounded ideas we have about the way species evolve and change.…

Wolf Reintroduction in Colorado The reintroduction of the wolf in the early nineties was a highly debated enterprise. Many felt it was only right to return the wolf to it former hunting grounds, especially since mankind was directly responsible for them being eliminated in the first place. There were many though, primarily the cattle ranchers and sheepherders of Wyoming, that feared the return of the wolf and its potential impact on their livelihoods. Yellowstone National Park seemed like the best choice for implementing this experiment, since both the animals, and the human residents of the area, could be offered protection in equal measure.…

As of the 21st century, it is no longer controversial to believe in the existence of extraterrestrial life. While in the 16th century, a belief that life existed beyond Earth and its atmosphere may have led to a public execution (like it did for astronomer, Giordano Bruno), the same belief is held by 54% of Americans today. Given the evidence gathered through advanced space exploration and technology, the scientific community, as well as the general population, is more inclined to believe in extraterrestrial life. However, something that is more debatable, is the existence of intelligent extraterrestrial life.…
