Argumentative Essay: Is Animal Testing Wrong?

Is animal testing right? Animal testing is very important for use today. Without animal testing many cures today would not have been able to be cured. By using animals to test on human product we have greatly benefited from them over the years. There are multiple things that animals testing do for the animals like saving human life, dose not cause destress to the animal, and we greatly benefit from all the animals that have contributed to the testing. There any many things that I will conclude about these topics. The first thing i will take to you about is how it is saving lifes. For instants in article 2 is says “While no animal is completely identical to humans, some have particular organ systems that are very similar to those of human being” (Change, Maria page 3). This just show how we are able to take an animal that is similar to use and use certain drugs on them and see if it affects there organs. There is also a law that says you have to test all drugs on animals before put into the public hands this can be found in article 2. It says “To understand fully how a new drug will work in a living organism, researchers must test it on a living organism.The U.S. government forbids many treatments to be tested on humans until they have been proven safe” …show more content…
In article 2 is says “Animals, especially mammals, are very similar to humans”(Chang, Maria L page 2). If the animals were not similar to humans the testing would be useless because we would not be able to compare between us and them. It also says in article 4 “Without animal testing, there will be no new drug or hard-to-treat diseases”(Change, Maria page 815). If we would have never started to test on animals we would never be where we are today. In article 10 is says”experiment on animals… are entirely conclusive for the toxicology and hygiene of man..”(Sun, Shany page 83). Animals have gave use many benefits for all are cures and drugs
