Population growth has reached outstanding numbers over the past few centuries because of immigration in itself, not counting illegal immigrants. The number of people increasing means the number of natural resources decrease. Not only are illegal immigrants taking up space, but helping take away our precious land as well. The Jurassic amount of people filling America causes more and more land to be taken and used for things such as housing and shopping centers. This creates a problem when things such as taxes are due. Liberal economist Paul Krugman has written, "Unfortunately, low-skill immigrants don't pay enough taxes to cover the cost of the benefits they receive.” This causes a huge weight on the shoulders of a tax payer who is not an illegal immigrant. Since these foreigners cannot pay the taxes themselves, Americans are having to pitch in more than they should be to cover the amount due. Americans should not be forced to pay taxes that are saving the butts of immigrants illegal and legal throughout the U.S. This sounds obscure to anyone who realizes the things they are truly paying
