If one lived in a house and did nothing but throw trash everywhere, it would be no surprise that the house is a mess. In a way, people around the world do similar actions yet deny the effects of pollution, such as global warming, more intense natural disasters and climate change. The analogy referent is people using and acquiring fossil fuels continuously and polluting the atmosphere while some people deny this act and others live in ignorance. For example, President Trump does not believe in Climate Change and openly interferes with attempts to fix pollution. Subsequently, President Trump destroyed a plan set in place by President Obama to explore clean energy, and reduce carbon emissions 36% by 2030 when Trump revoked the “Clean Power Plan”(Times.com). To resolve the problem of pollution in the United States should integrate hydrogen power into the collective fuel sources because, it is a source of clean energy that does not pollute the planet (unlike fossil fuels). Molecular hydrogen is extremely abundant throughout the Earth, and coupled with the right technology, could serve as a battery for solar cars.

The effects of resource depletion and pollution means the world will be in danger of both an energy crisis and the extreme effects of climate change. Hydrogen power offers one solution to the dwindling supply of fossil fuels. To help fund the forward thinkers like Elon Musk support a brighter, more electric future, one should save their money to invest in buying an electric car or at least a hybrid car. If you have any doubt in your mind about forfeiting up a beautiful engine sound for the whine of electricity, think of what is most valuable for future generations, the roar of a gasoline engine or the lack of rampant pollution caused by that same gas
