For my argumentative essay I went back and forth and couldn’t decide which topic I wanted to learn more about. I looked at all the questions and what they were asking and I was most interested in Option number three, Should we rethink how long students spend in high school?, I’m going to be honest with you I personally don’t like school. I would like to do anything in my power to get it done and over with. So i’m basically with most of the population that dislikes school. The school in Brooklyn called P-Tech has been in session for about 5 years now. It has been going great and has had a lot of press, because of Obama visiting it. They actually started a school in Chicago that does 6 years now. The school in Chicago is called Sarah E. Goode Estem Academy. There are about 5 schools around the world that offer 6 years of high school. 1 in 4 students are young women that attend P-Tech. P-tech has a much higher attraction for young women that are interested in the technical field.

Going back to my pros and cons about the 6 year school, I want to point out one of the most important pros of it all. The 6 year class is for free and when they offer the college courses the tuition is free, the books are free, and any other fees that would apply are covered by the school. So Its like you can sit here and spend hundreds and thousands of dollars on a 4 year college. Or you tough it out and do the 6 year high school, get tuition free college classes and graduate with a diploma and associate's

Official take it down thus making Winnit mad, so he files a lawsuit demanding to put it back up. Five Years of Benefits When people think of a person who took a fifth year in high school they think of failure, miss credits and many similar problems, but actually no one really looks at the beneficial side of a fifth year. It can allow a student to become more aware of programs, life paths and career choices which is extremely important. Therefore, the high school program should extend to five years instead of four because it allows students to obtain more education and gain more life skills. People say that grade twelve is enough education for students, but actually in an extra year of school many things can be taught and learned. Firstly, an extra year of high school opens up more learning opportunities for students.…

Sarah Conly- the author who wrote “Three Cheers for the Nanny State”- argues that the soda restriction is a good idea because people would be stopped from making foolish decisions that they’ll pretty definitely regret.…

Hungry for Change Why is it that law mandates public school meals have a minimum calorie intake, but not a maximum? This owes itself to the fact that when nutrition standards were established for public schools, it was to solve the problem of undernourishment.
