Carrying a concealed handgun is permitted in every state. Some states require adults who own a gun to acquire permits while other states are a lot less restricted and do not enforce these permit laws. Advocates of concealed weapon carry say that criminals are not as likely to commit crimes or attack someone who they believe has gun. On the other hand opponents of the matter argue that adults who carry a gun in public increase the risk of accidental gun injuries and gun violence. For the safety of the public guns should be more restricted.
