Argumentative Essay: Does Music Give More Important?

Decades pf research and observations have documented numerous times that music has mental, psychological, physical, and intellectual benefits to those who listen and participate in it but, it is still considered an auxiliary or luxury rather than a necessity. Many school systems in America have dismal or non-existent music programs because of the lack of importance and funding allotted for music programs. Hospitals and clinics do not have funding allotted for music therapy for its patients and clients because of the idea that it’s not worth investing in. I want to present the reasoning in why music should be giving more importance and how pivotal it is to all of our lives. The information I want to provide will prove that music is the may component to children doing better academically, mentally and physically ill patients becoming better after music therapy, and how music has an influence on our day to day lives. I know many will suggest that music has no significant value to the caliber of life one may live or that music cannot be enjoyed by all such as the death. One of the many counters to this argument would be that even people who do not have the ability to hear enjoy music. A concert in Hanover, Germany was held with nothing but, death artists and death audience members. The lyrics were prompted on the mega board and performed by the artists.
