Who’s to say aliens haven’t show themselves, there are numerous sightings, encounter stories, and questions that have yet to been answered. The oldest UFO sighting can date back to 343 BC! Diodorus Siculus Timoleon wrote while traveling from Corinth to Sicily “All through the night he was preceded by a torch blazing in the sky up to the moment when the squadron made harbor in Italy.” In a modern time this light could be more than just a light and there are many other stories about UFOs. 196 AD Cassius Dio wrote “a fine rain resembling silver” which fell over the city of Rome despite the sky being clear. There are also over 100,000 UFO sightings in the past 100 years and that’s not counting the experiences that haven’t been reported. If aliens do indeed exist they haven’t given us a formal introduction, but I do believe they have made their existence known in other ways.
When humans first discover a new creature they observe, run test, and analyze. We are smart enough to do all these things, it is how we survive and learn. So why wouldn’t aliens do that with us? It seems there is evidence of them visiting, observing, running test on people, and analyzing us. If we discovered extraterrestrial creatures before they discovered us would we just walk in and introduce ourselves? I think not, that would be foolish. Furthermore if aliens do exist who’s to say they want that responsibility of greeting humans. Our morals differ from person to person and our morals could very likely differ from human to alien. Aliens could want nothing more than to study us such as we study space. Another reason why they might not introduce themselves is their intentions. They could be plotting something completely horrible, giving your secrets away to the ones your plotting against isn’t very
