I screamed in fear and found myself full of sweat in my bed. It was a real bad dream, a consequence of watching an alien movie last night. It’s not a thing that happens to me only. People’s mind is occupied by aliens through movies, hoax alien photos, videos and news on the internet. But do aliens exist for real? The answer is obvious no because there isn’t a single evidence of aliens till date. Imagination has been proved to be a non-stopping phenomenon for humans since time immemorial. True or fake? We can't call it true until and unless we have the evidence. We only believe in what we see and there is not a single proof of us meeting the aliens. It's because they don't exist. If they existed we could have already known about them or had proof about them. Since there’s no evidence they don’t exist.

Yet when examining detailed experiences, one can begin to connect the dots of the conspiracy. According to British author of The Real Men in Black, Nick Redfern, accounts of those who shared encounters with the men in black all had similar denominators. All victims admittedly had seen a UFO, were involved in an alien abduction of some sort, or possessed an unexplainable artifact. Along with that, many of those who have met the strange men also began to investigate and attempted to spread their findings to those who would listen. In Redfern’s book a mother and housewife named Helen had seen a strange flying object near her house.…

Writing Assignment One In his article, Your Sixth Sense, Matthew Hutson explains ways the brain tricks people into believing they are experiencing a paranormal event. Hutson first explains anomalous experiences and continues with how some events that appear supernatural are really just meaningful coincidences. Near-death and out-of-body experiences are explained next, then he touches the topic of contacting spirits; the article is wrapped up by explaining who is more likely to be susceptible to these experiences. This chapter from Paranormal America is dedicated to discussing what the paranormal is and how to define it. The authors begin the chapter by explaining the difficulty in naming the phenomenon of the paranormal. The list is seemingly endless and diverse, which includes the words such as: “supernatural,” “metaphysics,” “pseudoscience,” and “New Age” (Bader, Mencken, and Baker, pg. 20). The definitions of these words are not concrete and are often used interchangeably. People would make the argument that they are not the same, particularly the term “New Age.”…

As of the 21st century, it is no longer controversial to believe in the existence of extraterrestrial life. While in the 16th century, a belief that life existed beyond Earth and its atmosphere may have led to a public execution (like it did for astronomer, Giordano Bruno), the same belief is held by 54% of Americans today. Given the evidence gathered through advanced space exploration and technology, the scientific community, as well as the general population, is more inclined to believe in extraterrestrial life. However, something that is more debatable, is the existence of intelligent extraterrestrial life.…

Other people, however, disagree completely with the idea that UFOs are debatable mysteries that may or may not be from another planet carrying within them extra-terrestrial beings. An unusual looking flying object seen in the sky shouldn’t immediately mean ‘Aliens’! Comets, rockets, military jets, weather balloons, fireballs, satellites, meteors, experimental craft, and odd looking clouds can all be mistaken for UFO’s. James Oberg, a former NASA employee who worked in mission control, set out to disprove decades' worth of UFO sightings using his professional expertise in space missions.…
