We’ve all been there. We’ve all experienced some form of racism at least once. It might be from someone saying a negative comment about you or you might have witnessed someone saying it to another person.
On January 27th, 2017, Trump announced that he would no longer be accepting people from the seven Muslim majority countries for 90 days. The countries affected by this ban is Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia, Yemen and Iraq. The reason why Trump is banning Muslims from the US is because he says this will keep radical Islamic terrorists out of the US. This ban will also suspend the refugee system for 120 days. From Trump's perspective it is clear why he is banning the Muslims, but oddly enough, this ban does not affect the nationalities that were involved in the 9/11 attacks. Countries such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, United Arab and Emirates.

This experiment had an american girl and a muslim girl ask people if they could watch their bag. When the american girl asked, people were very generous and said they would watch her bag, but when the muslim girl asked, people said no and declined her. They said stuff such as “we’re leaving now” or “we’re gonna go soon”. Karim decided to see if people cared if the muslim girl was getting harassed, so he got his friend to play a “bully”. When the muslim girl asked someone if they could watch her bag they said yes. Beside the person was the “bully” and started to say stuff like I would check that bag, there might be a bomb in there. Another person agreed and said “if you leave that bag there I’m going to call the cops”. As you can see, people will automatically judge you just by the way you are dressed. Just because she was dressed like a muslim, some people thought she had something hiding her
