Argumentative Essay: Bankroll's Murder

Decent Essays
Trentavious White, better known as Bankroll Fresh, was murdered at Street Execs on March 5th, 2016. He was an up and coming rapper out of Atlanta and was 28 at the time. Still, even nine months later his assassination is still argued by many. He was killed by a retaliation shot by rapper No Plug who claims Bankroll shot first. Claims still go around today to justify his murder. On the night Bankroll Fresh was tragically murdered, a lot of tension between him and No Plug had spilled over from past issues. Specifically the Turkey Drive in 9th Ward situation.
No Plug was on the way to South Carolina to do a show, but stopped at Street Execs to meet the person he doing the show with. At the time, Street Execs was owned by Bankroll and 2 Chainz.

Some may say that he caused his own death by introducing guns to the situation. According to No Plug he drawed the gun and shot it first before anyone else. Tragedy could have easily been avoided if No Plug’s phones were returned to him. As of recent, new claims from rapper Street Money Boochie, Bankroll’s cousin, states otherwise. Boochie was present on the night of Bankroll’s death. He states that Bankroll offered to fight him, and they did. When No Plug started to lose, he brought out a gun. That's when Bankroll starts shooting, and the shoot out began. No recents statements from No Plug on the new story. But yet tragedy cloud still have been avoided if his phones were returned, or if No Plug never came to Bankroll’s studio in the first place. Sadly, Bankroll is still in the wrong for his own murder. If he had never tried to confront No Plug on an ld issue that had nothing to do with. Plus Bankroll assaulted him by pushing him and making the issue escalate. No Plug handled the situation the correct way but in the wrong manner. He should have ask C-Note to retrieve his phones. So in this case there is no real justification in this murder. Even though it is ruled as self defense, he should never came to Bankroll’s studio knowing they weren't on good terms. Bankroll never should have tried to assault him about an old situation. And if Bankroll is not allowed to come to 9th Ward and guns were drawn on him, No Plug shouldn't have been allowed to come to Street Execs. This situation got no better since his death. New claims where said. Bankroll Pj, Bankroll Fresh’s nine year old cousin, was shot at and Lil Money was killed in the process. Claims for that situation states that 9th Ward members were doing the shooting. But the motives for murder was unjustified. Everything about this situation could have been

Based on gathered evidence and reasoning, I firmly believe that Mr. Karazai did not kill himself. Instead his son did and made it look like a suicide. There is much evidence to be gathered in this case. A piano was open, which is normal for the kinds of talents Karazai had, but the steel wires within were reported by police on the scene to be torn apart, and the illustration confirms this. Related to the wire is a coroner’s report of a “thin skin-breaking line across his neck with blood across his Adam’s apple”.…

However, one article presents itself better than the rest. I believe that the article “Soda’s a Problem, but...” was the most convincing article. Sarah Conly- the author who wrote “Three Cheers for the Nanny State”- argues that the soda restriction is a good idea because people would be stopped from making foolish decisions that they’ll pretty definitely regret.…

Leonard Cohen once said, “any startling piece of work has a subversive element in it”. When people create art, they have a reason. There is a meaning behind every song, book, and art piece. Artists will create these works of art to be subversive, to send a message or use them to go against what society or authority figures think they are capable of doing. In The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, Hans and Liesel are subversive towards the Nazis.…

The Golden age of rap and hip-hop is a name that was bestowed unto mainstream music, between the late 1980’s and the early 1990’s. This time period was shaped by popular figures such as Tupac Shakur, Biggie Smalls, NWA (Niggas with Attitude), Rakim, Slick Rick and MC Hammer. This era revolutionized “gangsta rap”, changing it from sub-conscience music to pro-violence music; however political issues and criticism of the African-American community was still prevalent in their music. Between the 1980’s and 1990’s, the most influential rappers were Tupac Shakur and Christopher George Latore Wallace (Biggie Smalls), due to their leadership role on the streets and outstanding rapping skills, they earned respect from the rap/urban community. Although…
