Are school lunches to healthy. Some people debate whether or not schools should Serve whole wheat or whole grain. While some people think that schools should have have whole wheat, many others disagree.

Whole wheat is overrated and some packagings lies. Some packaging companies lie about what they put in there food, when instead of being whole wheat is really 50% white bread with molasses or caramel added to make it look like it is. Also many kids don’t like the Taste some people say there is a bitter taste witch is also a problem for kid because most kids don’t like bitter things.

The cost of whole wheat can be almost a dollar more. The cost of white bread is $1.98 if you bought from the brand Sara Lee but if you buy whole wheat

Among many of the lessons I learned from this assignment, one of them is to distinguish between the “whole grain” labels on food packages versus the “whole grain" definition that relates to how much it has been processed. I was confused to see this label on white rice, which is considered as refined grain. After some research I learned that the bran, germ, and B vitamins were added back into this product. This made me ponder upon how informed the ordinary consumers are on food labels and the nutrients that they are obtaining. When searching for whole grain rice and reading the labels for fiber content, I realized that fiber is much higher in brown rice compared to white rice in which my family consumes almost every day of our lives.…
