Splash! Jason, Nick, Sydney, and Tia were at the Halloween Fair, and Nick just dunked someone at the dunk tank. They have been best friends since 1st grade, and now it was there last year together. For they were now in 12th grade ready for college. The Halloween fair was their last chance of being together. Nick was going to Penn State, Tia was heading for Harvard, and Sydney and Jason were both going to Votech in California. They would tell each other they would visit, but they all knew that it would never happen. After the dunk tank, they went through the haunted mansion, got a funnel cake, and rode the scaris wheel. Nora Helmer could be argued to be the “Doll” in the play “A Doll’s House” by Henrik Ibsen. She was spoiled by her father while growing up and now by her husband Torvald which, at first leads Nora to have a lack of reality and a sense of immaturity with childish tendencies and a lack of understanding the law. We watch how Nora slowly begins to learn how to think like an adult and become independent as the play unfolds. Her interactions with the members of the cast proves how much of an unrealistic view Nora has on her actions. Nora was sheltered her entire life and which can only lead to the question if she will be able to fend for herself and learn what it is to be a responsible adult.…

Since the 1950s, Disneyland has a good connotation of happiness throughout America; however, it has changed for some people. Disneyland is not the same as it was before and especially for some adults. The millennial generation brings back things that people would wear, listen to, or do in the 80s or 90s because of nostalgia so as a favorite childhood experience for most they visit Disneyland. I, in contrary, believe that Disneyland now associates with a bad connotation rather than a good one because it is a waste of money, overly packed, and attracts children. First, Disneyland is definitely different because of the ticket prices and extra expenses.…

Throughout my childhood, I’ve watched many famous fairy tale movies that I still admire until this day. One of my favorite fairy tale movies tells the story of a young maiden girl named Cinderella who lived with two horrible stepsisters and one evil stepmother who found her way to her true love and happiness with one fairy godmother and one glass slipper and lived happily ever after. However, many people, rather than getting the magical ending like Cinderella, do not get the happily ever after they desire. Into the Woods is the story of a couple, the baker and his wife, who seeks a child by ending a revengeful witch’s curse with a four fairy tales crossovers, which are the Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel, and Cinderella. The couple had gone through a three days journey to acquire items from the four fairy tales and were able to break the curse and obtain a child: however, they, along with the fairy tales character, did not get to live their peaceful life they expected afterwards.…
