Why Teens Turn To Smoke

According to the 2014 Surgeon General’s Report, (SGR) nearly 9 out of 10 adults who smoke, they got started before age 18, and I was of these people who started before the age 18, and that was regarding to my situation because my father who has been responsible about me he left me and my family in order to serve military in the Yemeni War. In fact, being alone with my family without my father and being in Saudi Arabia which is a place that you do not have entertainment places such as cinema, bars, nightclubs, and others funny thing because it is conservative society, so it would be anticipated thing to smoke and have fun while that age. Here is the question, why teen turn to smoking in this age, and that relates to the socio-demographic characteristics, familial and social influences, psychosocial characteristics, genetic factors, cigarette prices, tobacco advertising campaigns, and addiction (Hohen,2009). Personally, I see these reasons are reasonable causes that lead our teen to smoke at this moment, when you find people are careless about the teen, or maybe the parents are too much careful which makes the teen feel that they are spoiled, for example by giving them money more than they need, that is absolutely will let them buy other things that they do not need.
