PTSD is a major part of American life that cannot be ignored. This is a problem that could be worked on as a preemptive measure to avoid several more problems down the road for individuals and society as a whole. Not just PTSD but for all forms of “behavioral health”. The attention and the funding to ensure that the problem is addressed would be a huge breakthrough in American society. Why it has not been paid attention to is a serious question more of society should ask. The root of the problem is mental health, why have we not addressed this? That would make the most sense.
