“I love you with all of my heart”, “I love you to the moon and back”, “I love you unconditionally”, but do you really? One may say these things, but do they honestly mean them whole-heartedly? The average human heart is only 10 ounces, which in comparison to the three-pound brain, is actually tiny. Are you saying you love them only a tiny bit? And how many trips are you planning to take to the moon; one round trip is lone 6 days. Are you saying you love them for only 6 days, no more no less? Unconditionally is not being limited by conditions. Are you saying if someone did you wrong unto no return you would love him or her? While you may say you did not mean the phrases literally, why do we say them? Society has demonstrated acts and set …show more content…

While someone else may not have had a pet or a mother to experience this thing called “love” with. Love is doodling your crushes name at the top of your paper to let people know you cared about them. Love is staying up all hours of the night just to text that one person who has been on your mind all day and waking up early in the morning to send them a good morning text. Love is getting butterflies in your stomach even when you have found contentment in your relationship. Love is jumping in your bed after a long day at school or work. Love is the first meal you have eaten in a long period of time. Love is having mutual respect for each other, meaning you will sometimes have to agree to disagree just because the bond is more important than an argument. Love is growing with each other and sometimes getting jealous because someone has it better than you. Most importantly love is not just three words on a page; it is devotion, time, and effort. In 1-Corinthians 13:4-7, it is stated “Love is patient, love is kind”. This scripture is saying that love takes time and benevolent acts to truly become something worthy to call

The private space companies don 't have a lot of it. But unlike NASA, the private companies aren 't operating as many satellites, employing as many people, or operating as many facilities, so they could operate off donor money. But if somehow this money was to run out, the companies can bring NASA astronauts up, sell some of their patents, or sell their discoveries. Each space company could claim parts of each planet and attempt to build a habitat there. After their recent success of landing a rocket upright, Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX said “This is a critical step towards establishing a city on Mars.…

Private companies can raise funds from investors, source supplies from anywhere, and avoid government inefficiencies. For example: the company SpaceX has proposed a rocket that will send humans to mars in just 1 launch, whereas the SLS would require multiple launches to send people to mars. Not only will it achieve the goal with less launches, the rocket will have a reusable design, further saving costs. This would be the most successful approach, but the least likely in the political battleground called…

Space is open to anyone willing to explore it right now. There may be a time when we missed our chance to delve into the new frontier. Last time NASA asked for astronaut applicants, 200,000 people applied to take on a one-way mission to Mars (Kavanagh). So finding people willing to leave the safety of the Earth are not slim. “Putting boots on Mars is possibly the most exciting thing humans will ever do,” Bolden says, who is the director of NASA (qtd.…

The first thing they don’t talk about, is the economic potential there is with space exploration, similar to how the invention of ships expanded the economy of many early civilizations. Then, with their point of spending more money on other things such as improving our atmosphere or changing the weather, they fail to realize that NASA’s funding has been slowly decreasing these last few years and still nothing related to the oppositions suggestions for what the money should be spent on has been done. NASA’s funding is so low that it can’t even launch their own astronauts up to the International Space Station, instead they buy a seat on one of Boeing or SpaceX rockets, and still no money is going towards the things they suggested. Another argument they don’t realize that’s invalid is that NASA does nothing. Throughout their research, development, and launch of ships into space they have created several pieces of technology that are still used today.…

Furthermore, the rocketry type, (thermal rocketry) is the same from what we used over 50 years ago. The idea of thermal rocketry isn’t that bad, it’s the expenses associated with it. Some rockets use unimaginable amounts of fuel for missions closer to Earth than Mars. Multiple space companies have billions of dollars towards their development and are still asking for more, even though we could use that money for more pressing issues in our world. Even though STEM may not solve all of our problems, the results of what kind of people they are creating may.…
