Nature, nurture, or lifestyle choice, the world seems obsessed with finding out what makes the homosexual. Every time it pops up in conversation, I find myself confused over the fascination with unravelling the big secret. Homosexuality is just something that happens, why can’t we be fulfilled with that? No, curiosity continues to peer through the curtains and into homosexual society for some fascinating reason. What happens to the world once the genetics of homosexuality is deciphered, then what? When all the research is complied, genes examined and endless, withering studies analyzed and doubled checked, what happens? I believe that personality development is shaped based solely on how a person has been nurtured their entire life. All children are mischievous or bad at one time in their life, but hear me out. A five year old boy throws a toy at his three year old brother. He is punished to 20 minutes of “time-out”. No one likes being in “time-out” and it is up to him to understand and learn that throwing toys is the wrong thing to do. Now if that child is not told or punished for throwing the toy, the he will continue to do so until told otherwise. It is as easy as that for children to learn the dos and don’ts.
