To put simply, natural selection is the process whereby organisms better adapted to their environment tend to survive and produce more offspring. The theory of its action was first fully expounded by Charles Darwin and is now believed to be the main process that brings about evolution.
This is a prime factor that also supports the theory of evolution. Everywhere around in the world, you can see how human and animals adapted and received the “better” genetics for a stronger possibility of survival.
It’s remarkable really, how that’s actually possible. I’ll give a couple of examples.
-In a habitat there are red bugs and green bugs. The birds prefer the taste of the red bugs, so soon there are many green bugs and few red bugs. The green bugs reproduce and make more green bugs and eventually there are no more red bugs.
