Argumentative Essay About Evolution

As the years progress, scientists make scientific breakthroughs about evolution or creation. My main goal in this paper is to give 6 or more scientific facts and discoveries to help support my belief in creationism. My first scientific fact of creation is the development of intermediate species and how scientists have no fossil records of them.
Intermediate species are one of the biggest arguments a creationist can give against an evolutionist. In intermediate species the argument is if one type of animal evolved into other animals then why are there so fossil records for the in between stages of these two animals. Let's take a land animal and a marine animal for instance. If a horse which has four legs, were to evolve into a dolphin, then

One example is a giant sperm whale fossil that was found on a mountain top in Los Angeles California. This whale fossil location was found at an elevation of 1,272 ft. This couldn't have happened unless a giant flood came like it says in the bible and washed the whale up and left it.
According to evolution, natural diamonds are believed to have been formed millions of years ago. They are originally found in the extreme temperature and pressure of the upper mantle of the earth’s crust. Diamonds have a radioactive isotope in it called carbon-14 and would not be existent if diamonds didn't have it. But according to the rate of carbon-14 decay, it is found to last about 5,730 years. Ordinarily if it were to last 5,730 years then why are diamonds which have supposedly been for millions of years still here and fine.
One of my favorite arguments is the argument that everything has to be there at once to work. For instance, if the first animal was created from one single atom it would take time to create the organ, in the time that it is making the next organ, the first organ would die off and it would be a never ending cycle. However if we were made like the bible says, humans and other species would be created in one instant. Nevertheless scientists still aren't able to explain why other creatures aren't evolving

“Evolution as Fact and Theory” by Stephan Jay Gould outlines the constant taxing debate over evolution among creationists and evolutionists. He outlines the major issues that fuel the dispute and provides the logical and scientific approach to evolution for a clear argument against the claims of creationists. He firstly, provides a thorough explanation of the misconceptions of the definitions; “theory” and “Fact’. In the common vernacular a fact may be perceived as undeniable information with absolute certainty. (gould)…

Sometimes, no matter how experienced, or prepared, an explorer may be, nature can still get the best of the explorer and lead them into a fatal error. A young adventurer named Christopher McCandless is a prime example of this statement, however, he had no experience and went into his adventure very unprepared. Christopher McCandless’s memory is kept alive by the biography, Into the Wild, written by Jon Krakauer. In Krakauer’s book, Into the Wild, he recalls the brief life of Christopher McCandless as he embarks on a great crusade to fulfill his lifelong dream of living in the Alaskan bush. A few weeks after hiking into the bush, however, McCandless was found dead in bus 142 by the Sushana River by a hunting party.…

From Lucretius, Aristotle, Leonardo da Vinci, to Darwin, Smith and Lamarck, many Philosophers, artists, and scientists have produced theories of evolution in attempts to explain the living and non-living creatures around them. ‘Charles Darwin’s grandfather, Erasmus Darwin…”a British physician and poet… proposed that life had changed over time.” “The possibility of common descent based on changes undergone by animals during development…”Evolution is a fact, the theory of evolution explains how evolution works. Although, the theories of Creationism and Darwinism will always have their separate supporters, and most will never change sides no matter what evidence comes to light. I believe the evidence of evolution is all around us in the world with humans being the most obvious and…

Explaining Evolution Evolution has always been a relevant topic, whether being explained in learning environments or thoroughly investigated by scientists, why is it so important? Evolution tells the story of how humans, as well as other species, came to be. The articles “12 Examples of Evolution Today” by Erin Brodwin and “A Possible Break in One of Evolution’s Biggest Mysteries” by Peter Brannen are both compelling with the information they provide, and contain insights into the world of evolution. Brannen’s article is specifically focused on the whale and studying the barnacles on their bodies to gain more knowledge on the story of their evolution, whereas Brodwin’s article is broader and shares information on different species that evolved…

    1. Thesis The discovery and acceptance of Natural Selection refutes Paley’s design argument. Beyond this, Natural Selection offers new conclusions to theological problems, most of which are atheistic. Despite these plausible solutions, a skeptical mindset towards atheism should be adopted since logical arguments still remain in favor of theism.…

Dawkins says that people should believe in the theory of evolution without any proof. Since there are an existence of fossils, there are a certified tested proof of evolution. Fossil evidence of whales and turtles are talked about in this chapter. Dawkins does discuss in small detail the questionable crocoduck. Evolution clearly does not only rely on fossils.…

All those physical traits have served specific functions in contributing towards different organism reproductive success. Not every trait is advantage for an organism. Each species has different traits that work only for that species like the hugeness of a walrus could not benefit a spider money. Evolution are dramatic changes that happened one step at a time. The theory of Evolution does not say “organism from one species population suddenly produce organisms from another.”…

After reading the book into the wild by Jon Krakauer it showed me that Chris was not crazy and the different aspects of the trip. Why would someone so wealthy drop everything to go into the wild, although he did do it for himself, but did hurt everyone around him. He hurt everyone around him by dropping them and not talking to them and leaving them to find out about his death through the ones who found him. In the documentary that his sisters and parents starred in helped out with truth of his disappearance, and showed that he didn’t have the greatest childhood which could be apart of why he did what he did. Other contributors to this might have been Emerson, he seemed to have had the same mind complexion as Chris, their minds ran the same…

I felt the argument was needed to question the creationist that, “Did he create to mimic evolution and test our faith thereby?” (Gould, 256). In his last argument, he not only proves the evidence of evolution in an efficient way, by pointing out fossil records and evolved features, but also by questioning the logic to why God would add more revolutionary features to organisms over the…

    a. The most compelling argument presented in the documentary supporting the evolution is that the discovery of the transitional fossils which shared the common features between the fish species and reptiles. The major dilemma faced by the supporters are aimed at the concerns that some of the species seemed to be created abruptly and appear unlinked and such a claim is the key component of the perquisite of the intelligent design theory. Once the Darwin’s theory supporters found the direct proof to refute the essence of the intelligence design, it became the most compelling argument. b. The most compelling argument presented against the intelligent design is the sign of using the word “creationism” in the draft version of the book “Of Panda and People”.…

According to Popper, a law of science can never be proved; it can only be used to make a prediction that can be tested, with the possibility of being proved wrong. For example, as the renowned biologist J.B.S. Haldane replied when asked what might disprove evolution, “Fossil rabbits in the pre-Cambrian.” So far that has not happened, and in fact the positive evidence for the “theory” of evolution is extensive, made up of hundreds of thousands of mutually corroborating observations. These come from areas such as geology, paleontology, comparative anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, ethnology, biogeography, embryology, and molecular genetics. Like evolution, most accepted scientific theories have withstood the test of time and falsifiability to…

Nature is genetics a pretty big thing to make the person we are today. But then we have another big part, nurture, which is the environment we live in.
