Argumentative Essay About Evolution

In our current day of age, there are many beliefs of the history of humans. These could include how we come from apes, Adam and Eve, and many more. From my research, I have concluded that there is significantly more evidence pointing toward evolution than other beliefs. For example, compared to Christianity (one of the largest religions globally), there is way more evidence hinting toward evolution compared to Adam and Eve. This evidence includes fossil records and radiometric dating.
Most people see evolution and Darwin’s theory of survival of the fittest negativaly. Thinking that we would exile the weak and praise the strong. But that just isn’t the case. What survival of the fittest really comes down to is the survival of a specimen that

This varies between religions. “Some Christians fear that accepting the theory means rejecting God as creator. But that just doesn’t follow. Christians accept scientific theories about the weather, the formation of mountains, and even the conception and development of individual human beings while still acknowledging that God is the creator and sustainer of these things.” That quote is from the creators of BioLogos. There is still how the fossils tie into this case. There are billions of fossils that support my claim on how evolution is true. And to wrap it up, there is how the human anatomy is similar to the apes. I will go into more detail later on this …show more content…
In my opinion, I do think that Adam and Eve were real but how the scripture explains them is incorrect. I believe that god created them but they weren’t humans to start out. I think that they were put on earth as apes and eventually evolved into today’s humans overtime. They would evolve due to the rapidly changing environment of the new world. All religions get to a point to where they just don’t make any sense.
Evolution could really tie in with any religion other than Christianity. Such as Hinduism. The Hindus believe that we came from a god named Brahma or also known as the creator and source of all creation. I do not believe that we.as humans. came from one entity at a specific time and place. That’s just nonsense because there is no evidence

From Lucretius, Aristotle, Leonardo da Vinci, to Darwin, Smith and Lamarck, many Philosophers, artists, and scientists have produced theories of evolution in attempts to explain the living and non-living creatures around them. ‘Charles Darwin’s grandfather, Erasmus Darwin…”a British physician and poet… proposed that life had changed over time.” “The possibility of common descent based on changes undergone by animals during development…”Evolution is a fact, the theory of evolution explains how evolution works. Although, the theories of Creationism and Darwinism will always have their separate supporters, and most will never change sides no matter what evidence comes to light. I believe the evidence of evolution is all around us in the world with humans being the most obvious and…

Not many people today do not believe in evolution. An online article claims, " According to a new Pew Research Center analysis, six-in-ten Americans (60%) say that 'humans and other living things have evolved over time,’ while a third (33%) reject the idea of evolution, saying that 'humans and other living things have existed in their present form since the beginning of time’" (Pew Research Center). This shows when humans have a choice and are taught evolution, they will choose the obvious, smarter choice of evolution.…

Dawkins says that people should believe in the theory of evolution without any proof. Since there are an existence of fossils, there are a certified tested proof of evolution. Fossil evidence of whales and turtles are talked about in this chapter. Dawkins does discuss in small detail the questionable crocoduck. Evolution clearly does not only rely on fossils.…

This could be possible because you may say something along the lines of, " There is no way that out of pure luck where something was in the right place at the right time, that all of this could have been created out of absolute nothingness, therefore the universe was created by some kind of god and then science "took control" and the modern animals and humans as we know them came to be through evolution. " This would be more logical than perhaps saying something such as," Adam and Eve were created and that is how humans came to be, but all other animals came to be through evolution. " This is could be seen as trying to keep with your religious upbringing and beliefs, but you have come to be somewhat a fan of scientific theory through relations you have made over the years. A person may also "believe" in both depending on who they are with. If they are with a group of religious people they may say that they believe in Creationism.…

There is a separation from science and religion when they should go hand in hand. Evolutionist, however understand that the conflict between evolution and creation is there but they look for the concrete evidence of why. Darwinism and Christianity are the two sides of the argument and those that have accepted Darwinism have made them no longer believe in creation. This new way of thinking impacted Christianity and their morals within society.…

While there is a belief that humans have evolved from apes, religion has an explanation. Evolution is the theory that modern life has descended from a common ancestor, through the process of natural selection. Faith on the other hand, claims that life was created in the form it is today with some alterations from God. Since evolution was found it has been debated by all faiths. Evolution generates an explanation for the origin of life which is not necessary when there is religion, logic, and evidence explaining each aspect.…

Lizards and apes, sparrows and whales, donkeys and humans, according to evolution these all have a shared common ancestor, that has evolved over millions of years. Creation teaches that each family and or genus has a different ancestor, an intelligent creator thought up each one, only a few thousand years ago. Which do I choose to place my faith in? I choose to believe in an intelligent creator, that created the earth only a few thousand years ago, rather than millions of years, for three irrefutable claims; first of all, if the sedimentary layers were displaced over millions of years there would be erosion and signs of wear, but there is not. Secondly if you calculate the approximate amounts of human reproduction per year, going backwards…

INTRODUCTION: Throughout the scientific community evolution is a widely accepted theory. It explains, in its most simplest form, that over time interactions between an animal and its environment causes a change in its genetic make up. This is significant for humans because this theory of evolution also supports the adjacent idea that humans were once more primitive than we are now. It is believed that we were once more akin to that of apes; something much more animalistic.…

Yes, atavism and fossils do suggest theories of evolution and how we have come from one organism however they are subjective and have many faults. DNA is accurate and scientifically proven and testable. It proves that all organisms share a common structure meaning we come from a common ancestor as well as giving more thorough understanding of organisms evolved from one organism while branching off other pieces of evidence like vestigial organs. They all however show that evolution is a good scientific theory as each explores how we come from similar organisms and can help explain evolutionary…

DARWIN Fossils provide evidence of evolution because by showing the changes to organisms over time.
