Climate Change Isn T Real Essay

“I believe that humankind has looked at climate change in that same way: as if it were a fiction, happening to someone else's planet as if pretending that climate change wasn’t real would somehow make it go away.” This quote was said by Leonardo DiCaprio, he explained that many people act towards climate change like it’s something that many people don’t act upon because many can’t imagine this actually happening to them. Many people around the world have different preferences on what climate change is and if it’s affecting the world or not. Many people ask, what is climate change? Climate changing is the burning of fossil fuels and the uses of greenhouse gases that affect the world's atmosphere. Climate change causes temperatures around the world to keep rising and many of the predictions about climate change seem to be becoming higher than predicted. Like others around the world, I believe that climate change is real and this it is a big problem that will soon come to bite us back in the butt. If climate change isn’t real then what is the reason to why temperatures are rising more and more each year and why are …show more content…
Climate models are very complex and they cause many disagreements on the best way to represent the key aspects of it. The climate models can predict numerous amounts of climate change outcomes. Many scientists still question today if the lower or higher predictions are more accurate. The best way for scientists to assume the best prediction was to use past climate models that were most accurate for the present. It turned out that the higher predictions were the ones that were the most correct. According to Professor Collins, this work “breaks the issue down into the fundamental building blocks of climate change”(Collins.) This proves that one of the best ways explain climate change are the climate models, they help prove that what is happening around us and our effects of our

Sumner backs up this statement by expressing that 195 nations committed to an ambitious pledge to retaliate against climate change and control carbon emissions. In the next decade after the movie caught the public’s attention, scientists have made major advances in technology concerning climate change. The author later includes evidence on how an enhanced understanding of Earth’s inner workings and better climate-simulating computers have given experts a better grasp on how the climate will change. Better technology is a wonderful thing when it comes to predicting what the planet may be like in the future. This way if a simulation says Earth is doomed, humans can take precautionary steps to prevent the worst from…

Is climate change real? If the corals in coral reefs were asked, I believe they would say yes. I happen to agree with them. Coral reefs are dying off or becoming unhealthy due to too warm temperatures and ocean acidification. Population declines, warmer temperatures, and ocean acidification are caused by climate change, which in turn is thought to be caused by humans.…

The Liberal Hoax Climate Change: A long-term change in the Earth’s climate, especially a change due to an increase in the average atmospheric temperature. It is largely due to the increasing amount of CO2 released into the atmosphere. Ever since the industrial revolution, it has been a rapidly growing issue. More recently, however, certain groups of people have begun to deny this scientifically proven phenomenon. In fact, in 2015, Donald Trump, who now is the President of the United States of America has stated, “I’m not a believer in man-made global warming.”…

Climate change is the single most environmental crisis of our time. It is responsible for raging storms, searing heat, ferocious fires, severe drought, and punishing floods. Climate change is posing a threat to our health, our communities, and our economy. According to scientists the main cause of climate change is from the “Greenhouse effect” and certain human activity are changing the natural greenhouse effect of our planet. Burning fossil fuels, clearing of land, lead to the heating up of the earth’s atmosphere, resulting in more evaporation and precipitation, melting of glaciers and increase sea level.…

Climate scientists agree the main cause of climate change is greenhouse gas emissions. Created when sunlight reaches the Earth’s surface, it can either be absorbed by the Earth or reflected back into space. The planet releases some of the energy back into the atmosphere when the rest is absorbed as heat. These gases like carbon dioxide, methane, and water vapor: absorb the energy, decelerating or inhibiting the loss of heat back into space. Therefore the gases acting like a blanket, causing the Earth to increase in temperature.…

What is climate? And what is climate change? Unlike weather, the daily changes we see and feel everyday, climate is the expected weather of a certain area: rain in Seattle for instance. Climate change means a shift in the expected weather patterns in a certain area, however, in our current society, climate change is occurring over the entire Earth. In “Introduction: Making Climate Change Understandable” by Joseph F.C.…

Climate change has become a worldwide controversial topic in the world. There have been many debates and many arguments among scientists, politicians, climatologists, and more about this topic. Most people, including myself, is that humans are causing the climate to change and it is going to negatively affect us in the future due to increase levels of carbon dioxide. While skeptics believe that humans are not the cause, the main cause is natural variability. The climate is changing because of nature and the increase of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere can be a positive thing.…

Alejandro Vieyra Mr. Moody English 4 5 December 2016 Climate Change Must Stop Climate change is the changing of weather patterns in regions all around the world. The primary cause of climate change is the appreciable amount of fossil fuel emissions that humans are sending into the atmosphere. These emissions consist of carbon dioxide that ultimately retain more heat in our atmosphere than needed, thus elevating the temperature everywhere around the globe and damaging ecosystems greatly. Many people, including politicians and scientists, believe that climate change is simply a hoax. Although some prefer to believe that climate change is fake and we have nothing to worry about, there are concrete facts that prove these individuals wrong.…

Both of these pieces of information show a slight temperature increase, which may not sound significant, but if the temperature continues rising at the rate that it currently is, then a temperature increase will have consequences such as a rise in sea level, change in rainfall patterns and ecosystems and more dangerous and frequent extreme weather Another aspect proving climate change’s existence is the increase in ocean acidification. Increased carbon dioxide in the air is causing rapid ocean acidification to occur. Ocean acidification is when carbon dioxide is absorbed by seawater and reduces the seawater’s pH level and since the industrial revolution, the acidity of surface ocean waters has increased by 30%. Ocean acidification is dangerous because in more acidic waters, calcium carbonate is more difficult to absorb.…

Global Warming If you ever wanted to see polar bears in the wild, your time is running out. Global warming is causing polar bears, and many other species to go extinct. Global warming, also known as climate change, is the rising of the Earth’s temperature due to greenhouse gases, like carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide, getting trapped in the atmosphere. When the gases can not leave the atmosphere, they absorb radiation and sunlight from the sun and make the atmosphere warmer.…

These harsh conditions are increased by air pollution and climate change through cars and factories; man-made inventions. These innovative technologies have been necessary in order to have a functioning and developing society and economy. However, the belief that humans are the sole cause of climate change is refuted by scientists, advocating that the change in the Earth’s climate is a natural cause. Earth formed over about 4.5 billion years ago, and it has changed ever since then.…
