Many students drop out of school due to lack of school fees. Children whose parents have low-income struggle a lot with raising their school fees and some end up dropping out of school due to lack of tuition fee. Free education acts as a remedy to such children which increases the number of graduates in a society hence boosting its economy
Scholarships are meant for the few less fortunate people in the society although in most cases they are not usually enough. There are more poor students than the number of scholarships offered. In some cases, they are not distributed fairly and the people distributing them are biased and offer scholarships to people who don't even deserve them.
