Albert Einstein once said "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results". Throughout the years the people of the United States have Seen our Presidents repeat every action of the one before them, hoping something will change. They’re only looking out for their best interest and not the best interest for the whole country. Bernie Sanders is one of the few candidates who not only has new political views and ideas for the country, but also seems to truly care for the progress of the United states. Sanders wants to make sure that not only women have control of their own body but also, making sure that every women has full access to birth control if needed. It should not be a problem to allow a women access to all the tools needed to keep her sexualy protected. Women should have their civil right to have access to vital medical and social services incase of emergencies. Bernie Sanders will make sure to expand the funding for planned parenthood which would make it easier for women and families struggling with planned pregnancies or children at home, “would substantially increase funding for this program so that every low-income mother and her children receive the nutrition they need to live healthy lives” (Sanders 6). He would make sure that women have access to family planning services, by nominating Supreme Court justices who understand. Bernie Sanders realizes that even still today women are still being treated unfairly in the workplace. people are starting to realize that it is unfair that women earn 78 cents for every dollar a man earns. Even though it continues to be a daily struggle for woman it is harder for women of color, because african american women earn 64 cents for every dollar a white man earns. Sanders hopes to sign the paycheck fairness act into law which will not only end discrimination based on gender but also will give woman a equal pay. “increasing the minimum wage to 15 dollars a hour would significantly boost the wages of more that 15 million women and help close the gender gap” (Sanders 5). He wants to make this a fair and equal opportunity country for all Americans to make sure that everyone is allowed the same opportunities and options in the workplace. Both people and women themselves may not realize it today but two-thirds of all minimum wage workers
