Also enjoyable was hearing the personal and warm stories about Silverton Hospital and the strong ties and commitment to serving the community. From putting your external departments and/or health care clinics in surrounding existing homes to please your neighbors and maintain the character of Silverton, to the sleep houses for your residents and the freedom of the deer meandering through the parking lot. Especially impressive was hearing about Dr. Olwyn Davies, who is 92 and is still actively practising medicine and serving several generations of his patients.
