Most fast food companies do not put the calorie information in their food packages. So, most people are eating the unhealthy foods without knowing how many calories contain in their food. In the article “Don’t Blame the Eater,” Zincnenko describe fast-food companies do not provide the calorie information because prepared foods are not covered under Food and Drug Administration labeling laws, but some companies provide that information which is hard to read and understand for the consumers (393). Therefore, people don’t know how many calories they are eating exactly when they eat the fast food. However, there is actually a link between those animals and human. In the article “Obesity, Corn, GMOs,” the study shows that if people eat the GMO corn and corn-fed animals, they get the same effect with those animals. Therefore, corn makes not only the animals to become fat quickly but also people to have the obesity. The author describes “These GE foods transfer their effects to you” (Anthony Samsel). If people eat those corn-fed animals, they can get the same adverse life altering those effects that those animals suffer from corn.
