Argument For Evolution Research Paper

“Evolution, of course, is not something that simply applies to life here on Earth, It applies to the whole universe.” ~ by John Polkinghorne Evolution is an improvement of Earth through its birth. If humans were around we each would have witnessed the birth and death of the mountain ranges, and the ice ages that comes and goes like the storms we have today. Evolution is the process by which different kinds of living organisms are thought to have developed and diversified from earlier forms during the history of Earth. Ultimately anything living today can be traced back to its ancestry billions of years ago. Evolution rarely follows a straight path towards species to species. Instead it’s sort of like a tree with many branches. Some of those branches lead to other limbs, or dead ends. For example, bears, seals, and dogs are closely related carnivores but are on a totally different branch from cats and hyenas. Although, Darwin was not the first to propose a theory of evolution. His real achievement was that he was able to present a more coherent argument for evolution backed up by a mass of accurate information. Which is surprising considering that most of his hard information was proved to be true as time progressed throughout the years humans lived on Earth. The discovery of DNA (strands of hereditary materials) provides the strongest proof for biological evolution. By comparing genomes of different living things and observing the changes in the coding of genes, scientists can figure out how closely different species were related to each other and identify how long ago the common ancestor
