Second we would have more people with jobs. In an article called “Why All Higher Education Should Be Free” it says “If all the eighteen to twenty four year olds were in college, we would reduce the unemployment rate by two million people.” This would also be a good way for government to save money. There are a lot of people who already have jobs. Also there are jobs that do not require a background in college education. Well if we want a good job we would need a college education. The only jobs that people can get are minimum wage jobs. According to an article called “ Why All Higher Education Should Be Free” it says “ Only 30 percent of Americans who start college end up graduating.” This is saying only 30 percent are graduating and the other 70 percent drop out due to expense. Well the people who can afford it would appreciate it more. If college was free people such as parents and students would be grateful because students wouldn’t have to be in debt there parents would be able to save their money for other things. Also if someone can afford college doesn’t mean they are going to finish college. It would be more likely for someone who can’t afford it who can go to college for free to finish
