A rare baby name could make many parents to blast their head thinking what unique name to give to their future newborn! In the past most of the parents took the easiest way for giving a name to their newborn baby. As soon as they enjoyed by the coming of the baby, they considered the usual list of the acceptable names and came up with John, Alicia, George, Sarah, etc. Today, the situation is very different as the communication spread out and tones of useful information come up in seconds. Even from the early days of woman's pregnancy, the parents spend hours and hours thinking what rare baby name to give to the future child.

Imagine how the distinctive name you will choose fits to your surname; it should also not to be funny as your child to not become the drudge of jokes later. When you choose a rare name it is best to keep it short, easy to remember and write down. Think also to the time when your child will be teenager and later, an adult person, so that make sure she/he will not be afraid of spelling her/his name. What seems cute and interesting to 3 years old could not be the same to the age of 17 or 60 years. Just imagine your baby at these ages and be sure that the name you chose is a proper one for her/him!
The simplest way to give your baby a rare name is to choose a foreign one like Svetlana, Feliza, Hans or Enrique but make sure you know its etymological background. You can even experience with joining the names of the parents and see what it comes up with. Moreover you can combine the letters of their names to arrive at a unique baby name like Jomi, coming from Michael and Josephine.
Another option is to choose the names of seasons, flowers, places or Biblical names for your child. Few examples of these types of names are Denver, Paris, April, Rose, David, Samuel or
