Argument Essay: The Electoral Process

Each individual in this world doesn’t just represent themselves but their family, schools, neighborhood, race, religion, state and nation. Because we are the people that make up America we all represent it and it represents us. When we aren’t able to meet with other nations our parliament meets with them also our government and most importantly our president. They all demonstrate and represent the people and the nation of America. This past electoral process has been a long-debated situation, trying to decide who should represent us by receiving the title, President. They questioned the candidates repeatedly regarding serious modern-day concerns. Even though I’m not of age to vote, I am proud of my fellow peers taking control of their voting rights. We aren’t taking this presidential campaign election lightly. We are taking action in voting and letting the candidates know we do have a voice and we're an important part of America. In order for us, as a “minority,” to be taken seriously, we have to get involved in politics, vote, and not become complacent to serious foreign and domestic issues. I feel that we need to be able to present our concerns not only to the President but Congress also. We need to present strong facts about our issues and concerns along with fellow supporters. In order to show that we are ready to get involved with American politics, we must first acknowledge how situations are currently being handled and come with our own solutions so that we may move forward as a nation. Success will be measured by us being heard and action being taken, when our elected officials allow for our solutions to be a possibility. I feel that we as a country should unify in going through this electoral voting process and making sure we all do our part in
