In the video Nature vs. Nurture in Men and Women, I found interesting that both men and women believe that nurture was more important than nature. I think women are more committed to nurture then nature because they believe that they are in more control and could change certain factors when raising children, and they believe that if it can change then it is nurture. Although, there is a constant interaction between nature and nurture I believe that they both make us who we are today. In the Minnesota Twins video, I found it interesting that the two Jim twins before rediscovering each other had a unusual set of coincidences in their life that included wives with the same name, similar names for their son, have given their dog the same name,…

The issue consists on whether humans are how they are because of their nature or because how they are nurtured during child development. In a 2007 article, McLeod contributes that nature is what humans inherit while nurture is environmental influences. When talking about nature vs. nurture it is more of an opinion than anything. For some, they believe that you are meant to be the person you are no matter what the circumstances, but for me I see nurture vs. nature as the circumstances you grow up in make you who you are today. There has always been a debate between various psychologist, scientists and philosophers on their own interpretation of how nature vs nature arose concerning human development. In the nature vs nurture debate help by these professionals, the term nature refers to the genes we inherit while the term nurture refers to our outside environment.
