“Ugh, I gained so much weight over spring break! I really need to go on a diet.” A lot of people all around the world try dieting, but most of them end up gaining weight instead of losing it. Why is it that they gain weight when they spend so much time and money trying to lose those pounds? There are quite a few reasons for gaining weight. The metabolism slowing down, not keeping a consistent diet, and starving the body are all ways that people can end up accidently gaining those frightening pounds. Dieting can be dangerous and most people don’t exactly know what problems going on a diet can cause.
What is dieting? There are multiple definitions of the word diet. “Having fewer calories” is a great definition to use for when people are dieting

It’s hard to stay away from everything that tastes so good and makes them feel happy. It is important to treat the body with food that makes the taste buds and brain feel good. The only problem is that people can’t eat as many sweets as they want. One treat a week while dieting can keep your brain happy and still keep your body healthy. It’s important to stay happy while dieting. Staying happy might keep the diet going instead of ending it with a screeching halt. Eating sweets is okay, but only in small proportions. It’s all about eating healthy food along with keeping the body happy and healthy too. Since most people gain weight while dieting, it’s important to understand that most of that failure comes from inconsistent dieting. Gaining weight is so popular all around the world. Along with inconsistency, most people think skipping breakfast will help them lose weight. Skipping breakfast causes the complete opposite affect on the body, it slows down the metabolism and causes weight gain.
