Argument Analysis: Trump's Impact On Politics

After reading this article, I have found a couple of interesting ideas that can have an impact on politics. The first matter I found interesting was that Trump wanted to tear down the Obama-era regulations. In fact, CNN states, “Trump promises to tear down Obama-era regulations that he says have thwarted growth-boosting infrastructure projects.” This subject in one of the few ideas that I would agree with when it comes to the issues that Trump has to face. Furthermore, the next subject that caught my attention was “NATO and the West”. This caught my attention because Trump stated that he was going to make America’s allies in Asia and Europe pay more for our protection. An example from the article states, “Trump has vowed to make allies in Europe

Trump’s international ideology displays the resurgence of Jacksonian principles through his unilateral position against globalism. Across the Pacific, Sino-U.S. relations have significantly diminished as Trump, and his supporters, oppose Chinese influence in any existing global economic architecture as they view the Chinese as a threat to the economic potential of the United States. Liberals are already in shock. There is a level of incredulity that far surpasses their puzzlement at the election and re-election of GW and Cheney. Moderate liberals, who believe that socioeconomic change happens gradually and with compromise, are already wondering what has happened to the entire federal government. Also, Democrats (not all of whom are "Liberals") tend to believe that all people should be treated with respect. In fact, they pretty much assume that's obvious.…

Writers, readers, composers, researchers and so on need to find a way to adapt to the change that comes with what we call “The Technology Era”. As always there will be two sides to any change; the one that will agree with it and open their arms to it, and a second that will forever talk about how great times used to be when things were done the only way they know to do things because they do not like change or cannot adapt to new. Nicholas Carr (2008) states “I’m not thinking the way I used to think. I can feel it most strongly when I’m reading.…

After looking at both parties positions, I can say I am not surprised by the stances they have taken on the issue represented. For the democrat stances, many of their ideas favoured equality and calling for progress and change on many prominent issues. Such as how Democrats called for "policies and investments in order to keep America's public lands public". On the opposite side of this issue, the Republicans stated that that "our air and waterways are much healthier than they were a few decades ago". This stance from the Republicans shows how their more conservative and traditional views correlate to these stances on the topics.…

The slogan that propelled Donald Trump into his influence across the nation, “make America great again,” shows that Trump sees America has fallen downhill and has hopes to improve it. Trump wants to see this country go back to the prosperous country it once was, but he does not know how to filter his words according to most, which makes him seem frightening. Despite Clinton’s accusation about the risk of Donald Trump, his clever use of scare tactics gives voters a sense of security because of his ideas concerning immigration and terrorism. Battles over who deserves to be an American citizen has always been a prominent debate in American society; this is especially true now. hroughout this American election I feel everyone can admit that it look and feel more like a reality TV show than an election, however with the the looming election next week, thing are getting more serious. After putting a lot of thought into it, I feel that Canadians should be very concerned with American politics and the looming elections for many reasons. On of those reasons are that the United States of America is Canada’s biggest trading partner, any change in the USA will greatly affect Canada and our GDP. Also the USA is the largest economy in the world, any change in its economy will have a rippling effect all over the world. Another reason for Canadians to be concerned is that Trump isn't terribly concerned with Canada and when asked…

Ever since the United States established itself as a nation, foreign policy has been key to the well being of its economy and citizens. But, yet some argue that foreign policy has lost its importance in the minds of politicians leading the nation over time. Joyce Kaufman states in her book “A Concise History of U.S. Foreign Policy”, that after the nineteenth century the US bent its ideas of national interest, and ignored the nation’s history that clearly shows a strong foreign policy leads to more prosperity. Another supporter, Walter Mead in his essay on foreign affairs, argued that US leadership is vulnerable to catastrophic decisions based on public opinion, and that a stronger focus on the nations history could help politicians create…
