According to the mother the reason for the evaluation is due to the parent’s altercation in December. She stated that it was a physical fight which occurred in front of the children. Ms. Class stated that the parents became involved in an argument about the children having raincoats and boots. She stated that they did not have them and if he wanted the children to have these things to go buy it for them. Ms. Class stated that the father began calling her a bad mother and that “lit the fire”. She reported that once he touched her, she hit him repeatedly and he hit her back. The mother stated that Mr. Sanchez -Martinez girlfriend was in the car with the children at the time of the incident, she came over to tell Mr. Sanchez–Martinez to “stop”
