One of the many situations I could encounter that could compromise my ethical behavior would be either writing a sketch or approving someone else’s that offended somebody’s culture, beliefs or identity. In this case, it would be my obligation to speak out and recommend change to the way it is written or simply expressing my opinion about it not being ethically correct, which would be definitely what I would do. The ethical dilemma or situation with this case could possibly stand between the success of the sketch being written as it is and the possible repercussions it could bring by the audience to the show. Sometimes business people place money over what is right and ethically correct, and end up very successful in the short term, but in long term lose their identity as a company and forget what they want to achieve. Hurting someone of damaging their image for your own selfless purpose is never good ethical behavior and will ultimately have negative consequences in the work being done and in the person doing
