My Mexican friend is a very lovely person, and has been able to find a much better life in America than when they lived in Mexico. They're sitting here afraid of their family being disbanded, their family being ripped away from them. Defending Trump as Julius Caesar In this play Julius Caesar died by the hands of some of his friends and people he was close to. Having Trump be put in place of Julius Caesar did not change the story line it was still the same story just with a Trump like person playing the role of Caesar. This play showed all of the properties of a dramatic production which are to make someone feel something or to make someone be able to relate to what the actors are performing, and I believe that it should be defended just like it was in Rebecca Meads article.…

Why does Trump feel the need to deport millions of immigrants out of America? Well, Trump believes the crime and violence in America and the bad U.S. economy correlate with immigration. Nevertheless, in 2010 an analysis of the Census data, displayed only 1.6 percent of the male immigrants that were incarcerated, and 3.3 percent of them were native-born males. Regardless of the data, Trump is still willing to remove the immigrants from America, which will harm the U.S. economy. This editorial reminds me of a childhood bully. The definition of bullying is to use influence to intimidate someone as teasing, name calling, stereotyping, fighting, and exclusion, spreading rumor, public shaming and aggressive intimidation. This comedian displayed this behavior in his assumption of Barron Trump. He should be held accountable for his poor response and his tasteless behavior. Regardless of whom a person is or even who they may be related to we should show respect for one another.…

President Trump’s first official meeting with congressional leaders for the first time. In the article, “ Trump Repeats Lie About Popular Vote in Meeting With Lawmakers” by Michael D. Shear and Emmarie Huetteman, he states that millions of immigrants made him lose the popular vote majority. He has made plenty of these claims before on Twitter and also at the White House Reception. As Mike Pence prepares to take office as Vice President, the LGBTQ+ community awaits the many difficulties he may pose for their fight for equality, especially considering his stance on conversion therapy for homosexuals. Despite United States Surgeon General David Satcher issuing a report in 2001 stating that there is no valid scientific evidence that sexual orientation can be modified or changed with medical or psychological intervention, Mike Pence has involved himself in supporting efforts that seem to be linked to conversion, or “reparative,” therapy. Fighting conversion therapy is nothing new to the LGBTQ+ community. Since the early Freudian period, many have attempted to change sexual orientations to fit hegemonic standards of the corresponding…
