On Friday, the Tigers prepared to take on the Badgers, eager to improve their record towards the GSC tournament in November.
Although the Tigers were 8-3, the Badgers were desperate to prove they are good enough to compete with quality teams, despite that they cannot qualify for the GSC tournament.

Junior and captain Kirsten Reilly netted her sixth game-winning goal, leading the team with a total of eight goals, from an assist by freshman Beth Preston.
Following the goal, the Badgers attempted to find the net by posting five shots in the second half. However, the Tigers dominated the match by outshooting the Badgers 7-0 in the first half and 11-5 overall.
Head coach Graeme Orr was delighted by the win, but knows the Tigers still have a long road in front of them, “We struggled a bit in the start. We lost a lot of fifty-fifty opportunities, as well as, the midfield battle, but Kirsten was able to lead the team and made a fantastic goal. I credit Spring Hill for battling, but we have to show a bit more composure in front of the goal.”
Now 9-3 overall, the Tigers look forward to their next home match on
