I think flag protection is very important. People all around the world disagree. The flag protection act was developed in 1968. Many people today burn the flag, because they are against flag protection. The stars on the flag represent the fifty states in the United States of America, the white signifies, purity and innocence. The red represents hardiness and valour, and Blue, the color of the Chief signifies vigilance, perseverance and justice. Several people have lost their lives, because they fight for the flag. The flag is not just a piece of cloth, it represents more than that. I think it is unacceptable to burn the flag because of protest. The flag is our symbol of freedom and liberty, we should respect it. Many people can show freedom
