After that, Poseidon was constantly dozing off every few seconds to think about Aeolus, and why he doesn’t have control. Until a wave from the water would hit hard on the land and he would go back to he was doing. Until he became crazy thinking about it so much that it got to the point that he went to Aeolus without going through Zeus first. Once Poseidon arrived at Aeolus’ palace, he went past the guards with shields Aeolus had and went inside and called for him, “Aeolus, are you here!?” No response, until he got a blow of wind from behind. He looked behind him and saw Aeolus, and Aeolus asked, “And what are doing here?, shouldn’t you be tending to the seas?” Poseidon responded and said, “I wanted to ask you about you controlling my storms.” Aeolus said back him, “Well that’s something normal I do, and it has to do with balance of power, you can’t just get more power than the other gods just because you’re one of Zeus's brothers.” Poseidon said, “Well I say no, I say that I should have control over the storms since I made them myself!” They both went out of the palace screaming and arguing at each other until they took it to the sky, where they screamed at each and shot bursts of water and strong wind at each other, it was so much that a great storm known to the people below as a hurricane after this event, was created and while they fought each other the storm was unknowingly …show more content…
It was at this point where people were screaming with great grief for what was happening, as everything seemed to be washed away by this one storm, meanwhile Zeus in Olympus with some of the other gods, heard all the screaming and destruction below and saw for the first time the great storm. Zeus was enraged with his brother for getting himself in a fight and argument with Aeolus, and went down there flinging thunderbolts like a madman, and almost hit both arguing gods below, but he was too far away to have complete accuracy. So he just went down and saw them and said “Stop! This cannot go on any longer! Both of you, let’s go to Olympus and talk this out instead, and Poseidon, I need to have a special talk with you as well. Zeus took both his brother and Aeolus to Olympus by force and broke up the fight, ending the storm and leaving Greece to have to be rebuilt, and have to quickly build up its population number. Meanwhile, Zeus told Aeolus that this wasn’t his fault and that this will be worked out with Poseidon, and when he went to talk to Poseidon, he almost killed Poseidon but decided not to stab him with a thunderbolt at the last second, instead hitting a trade ship below. It was clear that Zeus was enraged at his brother, but he had to just let it go. After this, negotiations were being made between Poseidon and Aeolus under the supervision of Zeus and some other Gods. And as Apollo approached the end of his trip, they resolved it, Poseidon
