Areas of Interpersonal Communication in Samuel’s Culture. Samuel stated that his culture influences people to behave in a certain way, such as jugging individuals by how they dress, behave, their socioeconomic status, their skin color, and sexuality. Samuel addressed that people do not have to say a word to communicate their feelings, the way people look at others can represent approval, dissatisfaction, and/or acceptance. According to Samuel, the Mexican culture has different forms to show respect to others, e.g., in a funeral people must wear black, if someone dresses with another color means disrespect to the pain of the ones who lost a family member.
