Teaching and Learning The above area of focus involves both teaching and learning as it focuses on teacher’s abilities to create and design a classroom environment that fosters learning for all young children. According to Teachnology (n. d.) “There are arguments that a teacher needs to be authoritative, but in a way that makes them likeable, respectable, and approachable” and “if a teacher is not a professional, how will a student feel that they are confident enough in the person who teaches them to confide in serious issues?” (www.teach-nology.com).
