Area 51 Research Paper

Area 51 is, by far, one of the most secretive places in the world, but what could it be that the government wants to hide? The idea of the government keeping information away from the public isn’t exactly far-fetched, but to dedicate an entire facility to it is somewhat unsettling. Some of what has been created here has been revealed to the public, such as the U-2 Spy Plane. The Area is notorious for having many conspiracies against it, but what catalyzed that was the infamous “Roswell Incident”. The Roswell Incident happened in early July, 1947. Something had fallen out of the sky and crashed on a ranch near Roswell (Spiegel), and the Roswell Army Air Field was alerted of the crash. A few members of the army were sent to retrieve the debris and wreckage. What was discovered was not exactly that of a UFO, such as the wooden sticks, pieces of rubber, and I-beams found, or perhaps that is just what the government wants people to think? Bodies were also discovered, though these bodies weren’t exactly human. The bodies were described with having “oversized heads and eyes”, and the bodies were also no taller than 5 feet, so they were also described as “children”. The bodies were supposedly taken to Area 51 and …show more content…
Shortly after, the news was then disapproved when a second report claimed that the recovered debris was “that of a weather balloon” (Spiegel), and the bodies found were merely test dummies. While many speculated that the government was now trying to cover up the “crash”, others believed that the supposed “UFO” being a weather balloon was true. The “hieroglyphics” found on the wooden sticks was nothing more than a floral pattern, and the tin foil recovered was going to be used as a radar reflector (Nickell/McGaha). The infamous “Alien Autopsy” film is fictional, as the body being dissected is a rubber alien

Area 51 Area 51 is a base located in southern Nevada that is tied to many UFO sightings. The base is believed to be a location that was formerly used by the United States Government to research and reverse engineer extraterrestrial spacecraft technology. It is also believed that there may have also been aliens from another planet there as well. The base is monitored 24/7 by vehicles and signs are posted miles away from the facility saying it is a restricted area and that photography is prohibited. There have been former scientists who have spoken out publicly about Area 51, such as Bob Lazar.…

The Betty and Barney Hill Abduction case is more famous compared to other alien encounters because the other cases were mere followers. Because it is the first public account of alien abduction, there was controversy; the questionable evidence of when, where, and why it happened still intrigues today. First set evidence is looking at when it happened, we can tell it happened in the early 1960’s. It was September 19, 1961, night the Hills were on their way home to Portsmouth, New Hampshire, after a holiday in Montreal. “The story of the alleged UFO abduction of Betty and Barney Hill in New Hampshire in 1961 is well known to the public.”…

In 1988, Bob Lazar was hired by a government contractor to work on an exotic spacecraft at Area 51 and to help reverse engineer it for power production. He easily landed the job because of his extensive knowledge in physics and electronics which he acquired at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and California Institute of Technology. On Lazar’s first day, he had to sign a “10/10 agreement which expressed that disclosing any of the information presented to him would result in a $10,000 fine and a 10-year imprisonment sentence” (Patton). One of the many reasons as to why Lazar was required to sign this agreement is because the staff demanded that Area 51 remain confidential and by enforcing such severe punishments, they believed it would deter the employee from divulging any material related to the facility. After he signed the agreement, a government contractor took him to a secret room in a hanger and when he entered, Robert Lazar “saw a large classic…

The armed forced had feared that it might’ve been remains from Russian spy craft which was why they were hesitant to share the news with the public. (Roswell and the Mysterious Project Mogul) Although it sounds logical that the debris found were just remains of a balloon used for espionage, it does not make sense that the military would nervously participate in practices such as making dummies and throw them off planes. Sources stated that the dummies were very similar to extraterrestrial beings and that they indeed just looked like actual aliens falling from the sky. People assumed that these creatures were being hunted down by the military, and then they were being kidnapped for further research.…

On November 12, 1966, five men who were digging a grave at a cemetery near Clendenin, West Virginia, claimed to see a man-like figure fly low from the trees over their heads.[5] This is often identified as the first known sighting of what became known as the Mothman. Shortly thereafter, on November 15, 1966, two young couples from Point Pleasant, Roger and Linda Scarberry and Steve and Mary Mallette, told police they saw a large grey creature whose eyes "glowed red" when the car headlights picked it up. They described it as a "large flying man with ten-foot wings", following their car while they were driving in an area outside of town known as "the TNT area", the site of a former World War II munitions plant.[6][7] During the next few days,…

But the photos and videos that were taken have bad graphics, aren’t clear enough to give a good visual. The military, which runs the base, claimed there is no UFO’s or aliens being kept there.
