Camden, NJ – As part of its widespread "Subaru Loves Learning" initiative, Subaru of America will donate over 1,700 science textbooks to 17 community schools in Camden. This is one of the benefits of Subaru's newfound partnership with The American Association of the Advancement of Science, or AAAS for short. There are two main benefits of this initiative. In addition to students and teachers being provided with learning materials, this should also promote science education in Camden. The initiative should see Subaru distribute over 40,000 science textbooks to schools around the country.

Subaru's COO and president, Thomas J. Doll, took it upon himself to personally deliver the new textbooks to the Catto Community School. The school held a ceremony to commemorate the occasion. The company broke first ground on its future home late last year. In his official speech, Thomas J. Doll mentioned that they're ready to make Camden their new home, citing supporting the local community as one of the most important things they want to focus on. He added that the goal of the "Subaru Loves Learning" initiative is to improve the education of our youth. He expressed his hope that the donation will make a significant impact on the new generation of scientific minds.

This initiative is just one part of Subaru's philanthropic platform named "Love Promise." The platform was designed to support some of the causes close to Subaru owners and their local communities.

Superintendent Rouhanifard expressed his gratitude to Subaru for its donation of the award-winning science books. He added that the jobs in the science field are becoming more and more popular, citing this donation as a key reason Camden students will be able to get a strong foundation in the various STEM
