Many people in more developed countries get upset at child labor and think that it should not be exploited and it is morally wrong for companies to use it. They argue that a child should not be required to work in these sweatshops not only because of their age but also because they are not the safest conditions. Most sweatshops value these children because their smaller hands are useful on different machines. People on the other side of this argument point out that there is no better alternative so most of these children have no choice but to work. Sweatshops do more good for developing countries than harm. They bring in jobs to places where agricultural work was all there was and many families struggled to survive. Even though the wages are low in many cases it is more than what most people could make from farming. I can not think of an alternative to sweatshops that wouldn’t increase prices on consumer goods and in the present day in age an increase in prices is something a lot of people, including me, would find an issue
