Are Standardized testing really test the kids abilities?

Standardized testing is not improving the students achievement, and many people feel the same way. Some people support standardized testing, and some people are against them. I believe standardized tests are a waste of valuable school time, because the schools are not improving, it doesn't measure a person abilities, and it is to stressful. My first reason is, that the children in schools are not improving. Standardized testing only provides skills in math and reading. Some children in the world are better at physical sports or other non-verbal way. I believe that standardized testing only measures small portions of student knowledge. This means that, the children are not improving
