Are social media beneficial in all the ways?
Social media have become an integral part of our lives. The widespread use of the social media has allowed critics to emerge and talk about the negative influences of it. It is obvious that excessive use of one thing can lead to a variety of problems, so it is always recommended to stick to moderation. For this reason, moderation is also the key to balancing the side effects of social media. Allies of social media believe that it is beneficial in all the ways, and it does not lead to any bad consequence.

In contrast, nowadays, many people discover social media a reason of ruining relationships and separating family members. Social media gives us a kind of feeling that we know people better than we actually do. In fact, the people who like photos of someone on Facebook or Twitter are not the real friends, and by doing this action their friendships are not getting started. The real relationships take a little bit time and conversations face-to-face. Nowadays, the situation of families has really changed in a dramatic way. Even though, the members of a family stay together, they are not in touch with each other. They do not make a conversation; and they do not have eye contact because everyone is busy. Mostly, they are busy with TV, Internet (mainly social web pages), smartphones, and so on. In some cases, the members of a family do not even see each other because everyone has locked himself/herself in a room, while a family members is busy with social web pages and another is busy watching TV. Although, the main aim of social media is to allow people to stay connected with other people, it does not seem like that. Nowadays, many families, friends, and people think of it in a different way; they believe that social media separate relationships and people. Hence, this is not fair for the people who have become dependent on different social media. Especially, those who are already suffering from this issue will find it harder to give way to face-to-face communication. Certainly, the communication between real humans can become extremely creepy as it is becoming common to sit behind computers and avoid going out.
