Reason one is that pit bulls were the popular dogs here. Did you know that pit bulls became a symbol of America. Also their image was used on posters to recruit soldiers during the world war 1. The popularity of pit bulls was stubby, a pit bull mix who captured the nation’s heat during the war.

Reason two is pit bulls were good in the army. One reason is pit bulls were also the first to be awarded army medals. Also pit bulls came home to a hero welcome. Did you know they were inspiration behind the U.S. military’s k-9 cops.
